On January 8, 2023, China redefined COVID-19 as a Class-B infectious disease, down from Class A, marking the opening of a new phase in its COVID-19 response[1].
The China CDC latest data shows that, the country recorded zero COVID-19 related deaths at its hospitals between February 24 and March 2, 2023[2].
Since China relaxed its COVID-19 prevention measures, economic life has gotten back on track and consumption is expected to spike: Travel, shopping and movie-going have all rebounded[3]. China's economy has shown vigorous momentum[4]. Now, China has also liberalized its epidemic prevention policies to the outside world, and it is very convenient for everyone to visit China[5].
